Lexus Rx300 Driver Door Wont Lock

It is a 2001 lexus rx300.

Lexus rx300 driver door wont lock. Used to work normally just recently stopped. The key does however work to manually lock all the doors in the car. Used to work normally just recently stopped. The atuator is part of the latch assembly and contains the lock position sensors as well.

The remote is fine works for all other doors when i click unlock once its suppose to unlock the driverr side door i hear a clicking noise but the driver s door lock wont unlock same when i try to lock it. The other three doors work perfectly. 2001 lexus rx300 driver s door lock will not respond to the remote or the inside switch on the door. 2002 lexus rx 300 awd the door lock acuator on the drivers side door does not unlock with the remote outside of the car.

Also surprisingly the car does unlock using the key remote so the actuator is not completely shot. Hi had a problem with power windows in 2000 lexus rx300 the master switch in the driver door was replaced but now only 1 door lock passenger on driver side is responding correctly to the power doo read more. The manual swith works everytime and the remote works when inside the car. Very very common on the rx.
